Darwin-Katherine Energy Storage System
The Land Development Corporation (LDC) recently provided an alternative submission in the tender process for a 35MW battery to connect to the Darwin-Katherine grid.
Installation of the battery aims to provide for a more flexible and versatile electricity network with further benefits in additional gas availability for industry, such as at the Middle Arm Industrial Precinct, as well as potential improved environmental outcomes.
LDC have referenced a number of strategically located sites from its portfolio in the submission, which may complement the tender process and future energy storage activity.
LDC welcomes any enquiries on land referenced in the submission, or more generally on our strategic portfolio of landholdings.
