DARWIN SHIP LIFT IS ON THE MOVE

Darwin Ship Lift is now is progressing well with the latest announcement that the Pearlson ShipLift Corporation has been awarded a $48 million contract. The contract will see the supply of the ship lift operating system, steel trestles and design and supply an integrated self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT) system.

The Darwin Ship Lift project is set to support over 250 workers and to date $17.8 million has been award in contracts to local Territory businesses.

It’s great to see site works have now begun down at the Darwin Ship Lift site and we look forward to seeing the project take shape.
