INTERNATIONAL WOMAN’S DAY ‘BREAK THE BIAS’

This year for International Women’s Day staff from LDC attended an event at the Darwin Innovation Hub. The panel of speakers was made up of Pina Sommerville, Liandra Gaykamaŋu, Tracey Hayes, Cassandra Schmidt, Magdaline Coleman, Louise McCormick and Dr Jana Matthews was the guest speaker.

Some of the key takeaways were:
– Find a role model as they often help you discover your superpower/gifts
– We always have the power to what we say yes/no to
– Find what you love and do that.
