Kilgariff Estate

The civil construction works for the Kilgariff Estate Coolibah Release commenced in the middle of June with BMD as the lead contractor. The works are expected to be completed around the end of the 2021 calendar year.

Off to a great start, with most of the development area already cleared, and trenches currently being dug.

BMD’s subcontractor Complete Fencing engaged individuals from the Alice Springs Correctional Centre and Department of Correctional Services to work alongside their team to install the site boundary fencing. This helped in the huge task of erecting the temporary boundary fencing on site, with a site perimeter of over 1.7 kilometres in total. BMD were proud to welcome the individuals to site in line with their commitment to social procurement and ensured all personnel were accredited and certified in the required construction permits and licenses and were issued with the necessary PPE.

To date, BMD have been working very efficiently and LDC look forward to seeing the site works develop over coming months.
