The Common User Facility at Precinct 1 is part of the Northern Marine Complex at East Arm. It provides shared waterfront facilities for marine services, engineering, fabrication and harbour logistics.
About the project
The Common User Facility is an operational, bookable logistics support site within the Northern Marine Complex at East Arm. It provides a secure hardstand and all-tide barge ramp for commercial users requiring load-in/load-out access, and short-term laydown, staging, assembly and maintenance space. The facility supports marine and industrial activity at East Arm and provides a practical ‘ready now’ option while adjacent precinct stages progress.

LDC landholding acquisition period (estate establishment)
2025–26
Subdivision under construction for 11 new industrial lots in Precinct 1, including wastewater headworks (subject to funding/design approval). Anticipated Practical Completion date late 2026.
2026 and beyond
Northern Marine Complex Territory Development Area designated at East Arm (broader precinct governance milestone)
Precinct 3 refinement and staging options to support anchor tenants and shared infrastructure.
