Kittyhawk and Spitfire Estates
Kittyhawk and Spitfire Estates are part of the Whole of Government, Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct project.
Within the Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct, the Land Development Corporation (LDC) is working towards development of two estates, each complimenting the master planning underway for the Precinct, and providing the benefits of co-location to synergistic industries.
The two current estates comprise:
- Kittyhawk Estate – Stage 1 of this 300 hectare estate has commenced construction and is expected to be complete mid-2021.
- Spitfire Estate – This 300 hectare estate will be developed with industry engagement.
In addition to the two current estates, LDC operates an extensive product corridor network which connects the broader Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct. This offers industry the opportunity for immersion in the surrounding ecosystem and to connect with feedstock outside of the precinct bounds. As a result, proponents are be able to access the significant resources that the Territory has to offer, providing a critical advantage for future Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct occupants.
A large scale master planning exercise is progressing, aiming to strategically consider the required infrastructure and amenities in order to ensure these two estates optimise land activation for the broader Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct.
Construction is currently underway at Stage 1 of Kittyhawk Estate, providing a serviced developed area of 32 hectares, incorporating 3 lots for long-term lease ranging in size from 1 hectare to 16.5 hectares (with flexibility to meet proponent needs). These lots are available for strategic investment and are set to be complete mid-2021.
