CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY BRIEFING

The Northern Territory Government’s Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade, in collaboration with the Land Development Corporation, facilitated a Construction Industry Briefing held in Alice Springs on 31 October.

This was a great opportunity to update local businesses and the broader construction industry on current and future opportunities within residential and major construction projects in Alice Springs.

Paul Schneider, LDC’s Project Director, and Hannah Barraza, LDC’s Business Director, gave an update to the construction industry on home building opportunities in Kilgariff Estate and the importance of supporting and helping the the growth of the community. Kilgariff Estate has 31 titled residential lots ready for construction in the Coolibah Release and a further 36 lots to be titled early 2024.

LDC is keen to explore opportunities to work with home builders to encourage new home construction and provide more housing options for Territorians.
