Kāinga Ora (NZ) were the host of this conference and the theme was ‘Growing housing supply in a complex urban development environment’.
LDC toured 3 of Kāinga Ora’s large-scale developments in Auckland – Northcote, Hobsonville Point and Roskill. It was great to see and learn about the variety of housing project currently ongoing in NZ. They also visited the new Christchurch rebuild and reconstruction and observed the tremendous construction program that has rebuilt the city over the past decade.
GLO Conferences offer a great opportunity to connect with other agency who are doing similar work and may also be faced with the similar challenges and experiences. It also lends to collective discussion to share learnings and future projects.
