Global Resource Recovery (NT) (GRR) operates from the former Natural Fuels Biodiesel Plant, situated on the Vopak site at 800 Berrimah Road, East Arm. In early January, LDC coordinated a site visit involving a number of NT Government agencies that undertake industry attraction, major projects, economic development and facilitated projects. The site visit was to inform relevant agencies of the great work being conducted by GRR and the sustainable and cost-effective waste solutions they can provide to existing and new industries.

GRR provides expert turnkey recycling and waste management solutions for their partners across Australian industries. Their commitment to building a more sustainable future drives us to innovate and redefine the recycling and waste management process.

There has been a lot of talk around the NT on circular economy principles, and GRR is leading the way with its impressive processing activities. They are committed to ongoing research and development and have a team of 17 people, including some of the industry’s top chemical engineers, chemists and operations personnel, working together to redefine the waste management cycle.

With the capability to recycle and reprocess significant waste from major industries such as Oil and gas, resources, and marine sectors, GRR aims to progress to 24/7 operations and employ up to 36 personnel at East Arm.
